Advocating for Students with Dyslexia

 The Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity raises awareness and advocates for all children and adults with dyslexia. Educating parents and teachers by providing them with tools and resources to help those with dyslexia succeed. 

COPAA’s mission is to protect and enforce the legal and civil rights of students with disabilities and their families. Their primary goal is to empower marginalized community members to secure high quality educational services and to promote excellence in advocacy. 

Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).  The IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education, and related services to more than 7.5 million eligible infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities.
